BLACK LAOS FROM THE RAINFOREST FERMENTED IN BANANA LEAVES The Phu Now tribe harvests wild black tea in the rainforests of the Phongsaly region of Laos. The process of creating this tea takes a long time and is delicate: the tea leaves are rolled, then wrapped and fermented in banana leaves. Only after this process, they can be dried. As a result, the tea becomes black and enjoys its delicate, sweet taste.
